The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him, to show to His servants the things which must happen soon. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw.
Blessed is the one who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy and observe the things that are written in it. For the time is near.
John, to the seven Churches which are in Asia; Grace to you and peace from God, Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits, who are before His throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead and the ruler over the kings of the earth.
To Him who loves us y que nos ha lavado de nuestros pecados con su sangre, and has made us to be a kingdom, and priests to His God and Father, to Him be the glory and the dominion unto the ages of the ages; Amen.
Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, including those who pierced Him, and will mourn over Him all the tribes of the earth. Yes, amen.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, says the Lord God, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.
I, John, your brother and partner with you in oppression in the Kingdom and in perseverance in Christ Jesus, was on the island that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day, and I heard behind me a voice loud as of a trumpet saying; What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamos and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.
And I turned around to see the voice that had spoken to me; And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the seven lampstands I saw One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band;
And His head and His hair were as white as white wool, like snow. And His eyes were like a flame of fire. And His feet were like fine brass, as if it had been refined in a furnace. And His voice was like the voice of many waters.
And He had in His right hand seven stars. And out of his mouth a sharp two-edged sword came. And His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.
And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. And He laid His right hand on me saying; «Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last and I am He who lives. And I was dead, and behold, I am alive unto ages of ages, and I have the keys of Death and of Hades.
So write the things you have seen, and the things which are and the things which will happen after this;
Write about the mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven Churches.
